TRAVEL INSURANCE

Paramount Travel strongly recommends that all clients travelling should carry medical and cancellation insurance coverage. Paramount offers very competitive travel insurance rates. Call to speak with one of our licensed agents.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES
(When cancellation insurance is not purchased) Paramount Travel requires notice of cancellation to be confirmed immediately.The following charges apply from the date Paramount Travel is advised of the cancellation.

  • TOURS 8 DAYS OR LESS
    Cancellation prior to 45 days - full refund less $50 per person administration fee.
    Cancellation within 45 days - 100% non-refundable.
  • TOURS 9 DAYS OR MORE
    Cancellation prior to 60 days - full refund less $50 per person administration fee.
    Cancellation within 60 days - 100% non-refundable.
  • CRUISES & PLATINUM TOURS
    Details available at time of booking.

If for any reason a medical or cancellation policy is cancelled or changed at the customer’s request, there will be a minimum $25 administration fee.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A deposit of 25% of tour cost per person is required at time of booking and the balance is payable in full not less than 45 days prior to departure. All refunds are subject to Paramount Travel cancellation penalties.

COUPONS
Coupons must be redeemed at time of booking. Coupons do not apply to bookings through travel agencies.

PROPER NAMES
For all tours including air or cruise portions, the passengers full legal name as shown on travel documents must be given. If changes to name are required, there will be an administration fee charged.

SPECIAL NEEDS
Persons requiring more than minor assistance must be accompanied by a partner who is capable of and totally responsible for providing the assistance.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
Paramount Travel will be happy to advise hotels of any special requests such as room near elevator, lower floor, nonsmoking room, etc. provided this information is provided at time of booking. Every effort is made to meet these requests but cannot be guaranteed.

MOTORCOACH SEATING
Seat rotation is mandatory on all our tours over 3 days in
length except the Express Tours, so that we will not show partiality. Exceptions can be made for medical reasons. All reservations are made on a first come-first served basis.

HOME PICKUP & RETURN
Free home pickup & return in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Chilliwack residents add $20 per person. Free home pickup & return for Vancouver Island residents* (Victoria, Sidney, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum, Ladysmith) on tours priced at $1000 per person double or $1000 per person single. Other locations pickup included at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

MEMBERSHIP
Paramount Travel reserves the right to terminate the tour of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behaviour disrupts the operation of the tour.

BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS
'One suitcase (max 25kg) per person plus one carry-on. Although every effort is made to handle passengers luggage carefully,we cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft or wear and tear through hotel or group carrier handling.

ITINERARY & HOTEL CHANGES
Paramount Travel reserves the right to make, with or without notice, any changes in hotel, transportation, accommodation or schedule without liability to the client. Paramount Travel reserves the right to cancel for any valid reason any trip or tour without liability on the part of Paramount Travel or its agents. Paramount Travel reserves the right to alter or curtail the itinerary and substitute hotels and/or conveyances as it is deemed necessary.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is the responsibility and expense of consumers to obtain all documents required by all relevant government authorities. Canadian citizens must carry identification as proof of citizenship (birth certificate, citizenship card, permanent resident) and official identity card with picture for destinations where passports or visas are not required. documents in hand prior to departure. Consumers that fail to provide the required documents may be denied boarding privileges by the carrier or relevant authorities without further recourse or the possibility of a refund.

LIABILITIES
Paramount Travel will not be liable for any losses, claims, damages, accident, injury, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever to you or your travelling companions, or group members resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God,weather conditions, floods, earthquakes, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions,wars, terrorism, riots, or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities owing to a force major.
